Job summary

Workday is seeking a Solution Consultant with Financial Management and ERP expertise to join our North America team in a hybrid role in Canada. You will demonstrate value of Workday Financials to prospects and customers, partnering with sales to guide the process from discovery through demonstrations and proof of concept.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of financial domain experience, strong accounting knowledge, and proven pre-sales success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of extensive financial domain expertise
• 4+ years with cloud-based financial management applications (e.g., Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Zuora, SAP, Oracle)
• 2+ years in a pre-sales, sales consulting, or implementation role
• 2+ years working with core accounting concepts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management)

Responsibilities

• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars
• Solve complex business challenges using Workday applications
• Assist in closing sales by addressing questions about our solution
• Contribute to prospect qualification and proof-of-concept planning
• Support sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives
• Assist in responding to RFIs
• Participate in discovery sessions with sales to identify pain points
• Apply ERP knowledge to provide technical guidance during sales
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
