Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Solids Control Techs to operate solids control equipment on drill rigs and support safety standards. This is a high travel position with local area rotations to meet project needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing solids control gear, performing weekly service, handling paperwork, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Valid driver's license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with solids control in the Northeast US or construction is preferred.
• Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Ability to work day and night rotating shifts.
• Ability to travel for extended periods as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customers and team.
• Flexible, motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote Clean Harbors safety, environmental and operations policies.
• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Repair, maintain, set up and rig down solids control equipment.
• Service and maintain solids control equipment on a weekly basis.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues and other problems.
• Complete all required safety paperwork and daily reports.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, forklifts).
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
