SOLPLANET, a leading solar inverter and energy storage solutions provider, seeks a Technical Engineer (Pre-sales & Service) to support customers and partners across Southeast Asia. The role combines pre-sales design work, training delivery, and post-sale service optimization in a dynamic, international setting.

You will clarify technical requirements, deliver hands-on training, and collaborate with sales teams to strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above technical degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, PV engineering, or similar.
• Fluent in English; local language helpful as applicable.
• In-depth knowledge of PV, energy storage and EV charger requirements, grid codes, tenders, and market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• PV industry experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Pre-sales: clarify technical questions, designs and solutions for customers and sales teams.
• Deliver online or onsite training to Solplanet colleagues and distributors/installers.
• Speak at Solplanet or partner events and conferences.
• Collect and share market trend data, policy changes, and competitor info for market leadership.
• Prepare Regional Business Reviews each quarter.
• After-sales: develop service infrastructure for SEA markets and provide troubleshooting support.
• Train customers and provide application engineering services for PV, energy storage and EV chargers.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, installers, EPCs and end users.
• Coordinate with sales to maintain customer trust and loyalty.
• Provide commissioning support remotely or onsite and document cases in CRM.
• Identify product/process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
• Gather customer feedback to improve after-sales processes.
