Job summary

Nexamp, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Business Development Representative for our Site Origination team to identify and secure viable solar and storage site control leases in Nexamp’s target markets. You’ll perform due diligence, assess feasibility, and advance high-potential opportunities to Development with a solid risk-mitigated foundation.

You will build relationships with landowners, commercial property stakeholders, and community partners across assigned regions, educate stakeholders on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate required.
• 2+ years sales experience in high-performance environment.
• Experience negotiating business terms in contracts and agreements.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound communication via phone, email, and direct engagement including cold calls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify viable sites using company development criteria, GIS resources, and interconnection analysis.
• Perform thorough site due diligence to assess project feasibility and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners and partners across regions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to refine outreach strategies and drive pipeline growth.
• Negotiate, execute, and manage site control agreements for solar and energy storage projects.
• Report to the Director, Site Origination.
