Job summary

Cinterra seeks a Site Manager for utility-scale solar projects to lead the onsite crew, manage daily operations, and ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery.

You will oversee schedule, budget, and contractual obligations, engage with customers, review documents, coordinate trades, and lead meetings. Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem solving, and knowledge of mechanical, AC/DC electrical work in solar construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management in utility-scale solar is required.
• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.
• OSHA regulations knowledge is required; OSHA training and certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to work long hours, weekends, and travel frequently.
• Familiar with local codes, AHJ standards, and NEC code.
• Knowledge of pile, tracker, module installation, and AC/DC installation.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Collaborative work style and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company and project.
• Assist project manager with budget development and production estimates.
• Perform accurate take-offs and document progress for customer approval.
• Generate and submit RFIs as needed.
• Receive, store, and protect project materials and equipment; report shortages or damage.
• Oversee equipment utilization and on-site facilities.
• Manage complete installation processes from start to finish.
• Direct and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and underground crews; timecard submission and cost coding.
• Track daily progress, forecast look-aheads, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Attend customer meetings and address questions.
• Ensure AHJ and QA inspections pass and are documented.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and Director of Construction to resolve delays.
• Maintain accurate project records and support other divisions as needed.
