Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy seeks a Site Lead for Solar Self Operations & Maintenance (P3) to own on-site O&M activities at our Durant, OK facilities. You will independently perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot inverters and balance-of-plant equipment, and drive safety, compliance, and performance improvements.

This role requires coordinating contractors, managing plant budgeting and spares, maintaining CMMS records (Maximo), and engaging with local stakeholders to protect the environment

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, NFPA 70, and plant safety protocols.
• P&L Management: Monitor budgeting, cost control, and reporting for the solar plant.
• Contractor Management: Supervise on-site contractors and issue POs as needed.
• Material Management: Oversee parts inventory and disposal of hazardous materials.
• External Stakeholder Management: Maintain relations with local community members and landowners.
• Work Risk Assessment & JHA: Conduct risk assessments and implement controls for all tasks.
• SOPs: Develop and implement standard operating procedures for repeatable work.
• CMMS: Use CMMS (e.g., Maximo) to create and close work orders and track parts.
• BoP Management: Inspect and maintain Balance of Plant systems and substations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and prepare reports.
• Physical Work: Perform tasks involving lifting, confined spaces, and elements exposure.
