Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and site procedures.
• Ability to accurately document work activities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Able to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance on solar panels, inverters, racking, and tracking systems.
• Accurately record maintenance activities in CMMS, including creation, updates, and closure.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
• Assist in preparing reports on maintenance activities, issues, solutions and recommendations.
• Engage in on-the-job training to develop technical skills and advance within the solar technician career path.
• Assist in handling and organizing tools, equipment, and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with higher-level technicians and Site Lead to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
