Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is seeking a Site Lead for Solar Self Operations & Maintenance (P3). The role requires independent execution of O&M tasks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to maximize plant performance and longevity.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, P&L oversight, contractor and material management, stakeholder engagement, risk assessments, SOP development, CMMS usage (Maximo), BoP oversight, regulatory reporting, and physical tasks at the solar

Qualifications

Must have current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance: responsible for safety protocols at the plant level, ensuring OSHA/NFPA 70 compliance.
P&L Management: oversee budgeting, cost control, and reporting for the plant.
Contractor Management: supervise on-site contractors and issue purchase orders as needed.
Material Management: oversee parts inventory and disposal of hazardous materials.
External Stakeholder Management: maintain relationships with landowners and community members.
Work Risk Assessment & Job Hazard Analysis: perform risk assessments and implement controls.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): develop and implement SOPs with risk assessments and method statements.
CMMS: utilize Maximo to create, manage, and close work orders.
Balance of Plant (BoP) Management: inspect, operate, and maintain BoP systems.
Regulatory Compliance: prepare reports and maintain records for audits.
Physical Work: perform lifting and other tasks exposed to the elements.
