Job summary

Moss & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead on-site operations from the Fort Lauderdale location. You will coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.

You will manage contract administration, change orders, and site costs while enforcing safety programs and client relations. This role requires traveling between sites and mentoring a team of PMs and superintendents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Four years of construction industry experience with a general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager, including: project finance, cash flow analysis, cost tracking, scheduling tools, and leadership of teams.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. and legal authority to work in the U.S.

DUTIES:

• Serve as the primary on-site administrative leader.
• Collaborate with owners, design partners, and subcontractors to ensure all project work complies with quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Oversee contract administration, manage subcontract negotiations, track change requests, and monitor project costs.
• Play a critical role in enforcing safety programs, developing schedules, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage three-to-four job sites simultaneously, overseeing six-to-eight direct reports (including Project Managers and Superintendents).
• Participate in preconstruction services, including reviewing owner expectations, coordinating with design teams, and assessing design documents.
• Identify key subcontractors, promote partnering sessions, and investigate site conditions.
• Approve bid packages and project schedules, create site utilization plans, and oversee pre-bid conferences.
• Oversee project financials, including cash flow management, budget tracking, and revenue projections. Manage change orders, enforce loss-control measures, and ensure compliance with company bonding and insurance policies.
• Oversee staffing, employee development, and professional evaluations, ensuring project teams are well-trained and motivated.
• Supervise document control (RFIs, reports, CMiC systems), crisis management plans, and compliance approvals.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractor relationships, and permit inspections.
• Ensure safety and quality control (QC) compliance, conduct daily site inspections, and enforce jobsite cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Four years of construction industry experience with a general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager required, including: any experience with project management finance, including cash flow analysis and cost tracking; construction project management software and scheduling tools; mentoring, coaching, and motivating teams; working directly with owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies; and with managing multiple projects simultaneously, including on-time and on-budget completion.
• Extensive travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within U.S. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
