Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site administrative leader.
• Collaborate with owners, design partners, and subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Oversee contract administration, track change requests, and monitor project costs.
• Enforce safety programs, develop schedules, and maintain client relationships.
• Manage three-to-four job sites with six-to-eight direct reports (PMs and Superintendents).
• Participate in preconstruction, review owner expectations, and coordinate with design teams.
• Identify key subcontractors and promote partnering sessions.
• Approve bid packages and project schedules, oversee pre-bid conferences.
• Oversee project financials including cash flow, budget tracking, and revenue projections.
• Manage change orders and ensure bonding and insurance policy compliance.
• Oversee staffing, development, and evaluations of project teams.
• Supervise document control (RFIs, reports, CMiC), and crisis management plans.
• Coordinate field operations and permit inspections.
• Ensure safety and QC compliance and conduct daily site inspections.

DUTIES:

• Serve as the primary on-site administrative leader.
• Collaborate with owners, design partners, and subcontractors to ensure all project work complies with quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Oversee contract administration, manage subcontract negotiations, track change requests, and monitor project costs.
• Play a critical role in enforcing safety programs, developing schedules, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage three-to-four job sites simultaneously, overseeing six-to-eight direct reports (including Project Managers and Superintendents).
• Participate in preconstruction services, including reviewing owner expectations, coordinating with design teams, and assessing design documents.
• Identify key subcontractors, promote partnering sessions, and investigate site conditions.
• Approve bid packages and project schedules, create site utilization plans, and oversee pre-bid conferences.
• Oversee project financials, including cash flow management, budget tracking, and revenue projections. Manage change orders, enforce loss-control measures, and ensure compliance with company bonding and insurance policies.
• Oversee staffing, employee development, and professional evaluations, ensuring project teams are well-trained and motivated.
• Supervise document control (RFIs, reports, CMiC systems), crisis management plans, and compliance approvals.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractor relationships, and permit inspections.
• Ensure safety and quality control (QC) compliance, conduct daily site inspections, and enforce jobsite cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Four years of construction industry experience with a general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager required, including: any experience with project management finance, including cash flow analysis and cost tracking; construction project management software and scheduling tools; mentoring, coaching, and motivating teams; working directly with owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies; and with managing multiple projects simultaneously, including on-time and on-budget completion.
• Extensive travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within U.S. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
