Job summary

Venture Home in Stamford, CT is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our in-person inside sales team. You will prospect homeowners, educate them on solar energy, and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires high energy, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn through ongoing training. This is a full-time, in-office position in Stamford with hourly compensation plus commissions and performance

Qualifications

• Strong sales drive and persistence with a competitive mindset.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to build rapport over the phone.
• Resilience in handling rejection and staying positive during calls.
• Genuine interest in solar energy and home electrification.
• Availability to work full-time in Stamford, CT office, 9am–5pm.

Responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting to reach residential customers in the Northeast.
• Educate homeowners on solar energy benefits and assess their needs.
• Schedule qualified sales meetings for Account Executives and maintain a clean lead pipeline.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and operations to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Participate in ongoing sales training to improve pitch and closing skills.
