Job summary

Garber Electrical Contractors seeks a Solar Sales Rep to convert customer interest into high-impact Solar projects, owning the cycle from initial conversation to signed proposal. You will align scope, pricing and timelines so clients move forward confidently.

Key duties include planning routes, educating on ROI, and building lasting partnerships with end-users and vendors. Achieve sales targets while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely proposals and pricing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related field experience; HS diploma/equivalent
• Strong selling, negotiation, and computer skills (Word/Excel/Email)
• NABCEP PVTS preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a daily schedule to service existing accounts, win new accounts, and secure orders
• Educate customers on financial and professional benefits of solutions
• Build lasting relationships with partners and end-users; generate referrals
• Attend pre-bid site visits; support preliminary designs and ROI estimates using company software
• Coordinate estimating (including Accubid), vendor quotes, spreadsheets, and final pricing
• Prepare, follow up on, and close proposals; attend turnover meetings prior to job start
• Hit agreed sales targets; attend sales/company meetings; cross-sell across divisions
