Lumina is seeking a Solar Sales Consultant to support our Residential team in Pennsylvania. Your role involves educating customers on solar benefits through consultations, managing projects from sale to post-installation, and representing Lumina with high standards of customer service and project execution.

In This Role, You'll Get To
  • Perform virtual or in-home solar consultations using company-provided leads
  • Deliver compelling presentations to create urgency
  • Conduct needs assessments with advanced design software
  • Explain technical aspects, installation, financing, and savings
  • Coordinate with permitting, operations, and installation teams
  • Manage customer projects from sale through installation
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM
  • Ensure post-installation tasks are completed
  • Build strong customer relationships for satisfaction and referrals
  • Generate leads via social media, canvassing, and networking
  • Follow up on pipeline opportunities in CRM
  • Resolve challenges and share best practices
  • Participate in community and trade events
  • Stay informed on market conditions and incentives
  • Attend ongoing training to enhance skills
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Participate in company events and meetings
On Your First Day, We'll Expect You To Have
  • Proven outside sales experience, preferably in solar or renewable energy
  • Experience in in-home sales (preferred)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve targets
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license
Compensation
  • Base pay of $2,500/month for the first four months
  • Transition to 100% commission with a $2,500 monthly draw offset by commissions

  • Targeted earnings reflect average commissions; actual earnings vary by performance
  • Position requires being located in Pennsylvania for on-site consultations
