Job summary

Herzog Energy, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector for utility-scale solar projects across the United States to join our team.

You will oversee quality of construction works under the direction of the QC Manager and maintain controlled documentation. This role requires daily inspections of construction and testing activities, strong report writing and communications, and willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Quality control of all construction works under the QC Manager.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 guidance and project-specific quality management.
• Ability to conduct daily inspections and surveillances of construction and testing activities.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as required.
• Ability to write detailed reports and document results electronically.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual a plus.
• Familiar with codes and standards for construction activities; QC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control quality of all construction works under the QC Manager.
• Maintain quality control documentation including reports, submittals and approved drawings.
• Identify quality management needs beyond ISO 9001:2015 on a project basis.
• Conduct daily inspections and surveillances of construction and testing activities.
• Travel and relocate as required.
