Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Solar PV Installer to assemble and install photovoltaic systems on roofs or structures in line with site assessments and schematics. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, mounting modules, and applying weather sealing to ensure durable installations.

The role requires hand and power tool proficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to train helpers while maintaining organized, compliant worksites.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
• Experience with PV system assembly, installation and maintenance.
• Must have all necessary tools and be at least 18 years old.
• Pre-employment onboarding may include background check, drug screen, and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install PV systems on roofs per drawings, schematics, and codes.
• Lay out, assemble and install solar modules and support structures.
• Apply weather sealing and ensure proper electrical configuration.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentoring to helpers.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety policies.
