Job summary

TMEIC Corporation Americas is seeking a qualified engineer to prepare timely commercial proposals and technical specifications for solar PV and battery energy storage projects. You will build a network of evaluator relationships with clients and vendors to define integrated solutions and create a robust sales pipeline.

The role requires a BS in electrical or mechanical engineering, 2 years in PV or related power systems, and strong communication skills to present at conferences, assess options,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent education/experience
• 2 years’ systems or application engineering experience in the PV industry or related industry power systems experience
• Demonstrated success in working with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial proposals and technical specifications for RFQs and client needs
• Deliver presentations at technical conferences and client meetings
• Track competitive environment and provide analyses to commercial and R&D teams
• Identify and develop new solutions to drive business growth with clients and OEMs
• Define hardware and software requirements collaboratively with clients and OEMs and communicate them to engineering teams
• Lead proposal development for small projects with limited supervision
