Job summary
TMEIC Corporation in Houston, TX seeks an experienced engineer to prepare timely commercial proposals and technical specifications for solar PV and battery energy storage projects, collaborating with clients and OEMs to define integrated solutions.
In this role you will build relationships with evaluators, analyze competitive options, design technical approaches, and develop pricing to support project margins while ensuring RFQ compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- 2 years' systems or application engineering experience in the PV industry or related industry power systems experience.
- Demonstrated success as contributing member in project team.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver presentations at technical conferences and meetings with clients.
- Track competitive environment to identify new products and technology and provide analyses to commercial and R&D teams.
- Identify and develop new solutions, products, and applications to drive business growth.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize project margins.
- Prepare detailed cost elements for the technical specification.
- Define solutions including hardware and software requirements in collaboration with clients and OEMs.
