CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking an experienced Energy Solutions engineer to design, bid, manage, and commission solar PV, battery, and EV charging projects for a variety of clients. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient installations.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in PV/battery systems, familiarity with NEC 690, PV modeling tools, and the ability to read structural drawings and racking systems.

Competenze

• NABCEP PV Installation, Designer, Commissioning or Inspector Certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of installation of AC & DC wiring, communications and monitoring systems (SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius).
• Thorough knowledge of the NEC electrical code, especially section 690.
• Experience with PV interconnection documents and utility tariffs (behind/ahead of the meter).
• Experience with PV production modeling (SAM, PVsyst, Helioscope).
• Ability to read structural drawings and PV racking types from pitched roof to ground mounts.

• Design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems for CMTA clients.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure drawings and one-line diagrams meet requirements.
• Review interconnection documents and utility tariffs to support installations.
• Support construction teams and oversee project timelines and deliverables.
