Job summary

Syncarpha Capital, LLC in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Electrical Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of solar PV and energy storage projects from development to interconnection and operation. You will report to the Senior Electrical Engineer and contribute to design, constructability, and field execution for commercial and utility-scale assets.

The role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience, NEC knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience developing and designing commercial/utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems.
• Deep knowledge of the National Electric Code as applicable to solar PV and energy storage.
• Excellent communication skills across construction, technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and resolve technical site issues with Asset Management for PV and storage projects.
• Provide guidance to O&M providers on electrical and control systems.
• Perform root-cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze SCADA data to identify performance anomalies and minimize downtime.
• Evaluate risks for end-of-life components and site repower plans.
• Perform technical due diligence on interconnection and utility studies.
• Prepare single line diagrams and interconnection applications for projects.
• Coordinate design, constructability, and interconnection during development to operation.
