Job summary

Core Development Group in New Jersey is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver innovative engineering solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar, battery storage, and EV projects across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

You will oversee PV system design, prepare drawings and specs, review site conditions, coordinate with multi-discipline engineers, manage interconnection and PTO processes, evaluate equipment, and assist with RFPs, submittals, and commissioning

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solar and storage engineering experience.
• Experience with PV systems design and electrical, mechanical, or civil aspects.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and design commercial and grid-supplied PV systems.
• Prepare technical drawings and specs ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with engineers across disciplines during design and construction.
• Support interconnection and PTO processes with utilities.
• Assist with RFP reviews, vendor qualifications, and documentation.
• Support commissioning and project closeout activities.
