Job summary

SOLV Energy, with its SDI Services affiliation, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations for solar PV infrastructure projects. This role oversees contract management, scheduling, budgeting, procurement coordination, and field execution across multiple sites.

Travel is frequent and assignments are temporary with terms set on selection. The role sits within SOLV Energy’s affiliate SDI Services and requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure safe,

Qualifications

  • Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
  • Field construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills).
  • Leadership ability.
  • Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Drafting and computer skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
  • Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager is a central point person for the assigned project and leads contract management, communication, reporting, schedule maintenance, budget maintenance, change management, risk management, document control, meetings, and closeout.
  • Directs planning, supervision, and control of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects.
  • Determines the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
  • Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to the project team.
  • Prepares reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
  • Prepares notices and change order documentation for the client and project management.
  • Manages schedules and budgets for project proposals and closeouts; coordinates with procurement and subcontract personnel.
  • Supports the relationship with the customer at a professional and technical level.
