Current Electric in Wisconsin seeks a Solar Project Coordinator to organize administrative and operational tasks that keep solar projects moving forward. You will coordinate documentation, inspections, rebate submissions, and communications with customers, field teams, utilities, inspectors, and local jurisdictions.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, timely handoffs, and clear collaboration across internal and external partners. This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years admin, project coordination, or operations support experience.
• Solar, electrical, construction, or renewable energy experience preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel to off-site events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate solar projects from initial handoff through final closure.
• Central point of contact for updates, requirements, and actions.
• Organize pre/post-job folders with specs, drawings, permits, and records.
• Maintain project records in Google Drive and company systems.
• Submit rebate documentation and track deadlines.
• Schedule inspections, utility locates, and service visits.
• Support pre-sale design/proposals using Aurora.
• Attend trade shows and industry events.
• Identify delays and escalate to the Project Manager.
• Assist field technicians with monitoring and troubleshooting.
