Walbec Group is seeking a Solar Project Engineer in Waukesha, WI to independently manage solar construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and communications with clients and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires 1-5 years in solar, a relevant engineering degree, strong Excel skills, and travel 3–4 days per week across the Midwest. Join a team delivering complex projects with strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years' experience in the Solar Industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable equivalent training/experience preferred.
• Estimating takeoff capabilities.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient, Excel expert.

Responsibilities

• Manage solar construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Lead meetings and develop baseline schedules and updates.
• Ensure safety and quality across projects.
