Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Manager, Operations & Maintenance to supervise solar farm operations and related facilities to maximize availability and safety. You will lead site teams, ensure maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate with asset management and project development functions.

The role requires 5+ years in operations/maintenance with renewables experience, leadership capabilities, and strong safety focus. Travel to sites and weekend work may be required as part of normal duties.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business or technical hard science.
• Journeyman or master electrician license may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of ops/maintenance experience, with 2 years in renewables.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead/supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production ensuring plants operate within design parameters.
• Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and laws.
• Monitor production and performance against expectations.
• Coordinate and resolve operational abnormalities.
• Maintain plant components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare operating budgets and control costs.
• Provide safety and functional training to staff.
• Create and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Support Asset Management and Project Development functions.
