Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Manager, O&M to oversee the operations and maintenance of a solar farm and related facilities in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and maximizing availability, with a focus on improving knowledge and capabilities across the team.

The candidate will lead maintenance, monitor performance, manage budgets, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring adherence to regulations and company standards at the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or technical hard science from a US-accredited school
• Minimum 5 years in operations/maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems, renewables preferred
• Minimum 2 years in a lead or supervisor position
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work weekends/overtime

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and ensure plants operate within design parameters safely and reliably
• Ensure processes adhere to all rules, regulations and laws
• Monitor production to meet performance targets
• Coordinate and resolve operational abnormalities
• Lead plant maintenance with preventive/predictive tasks
• Prepare operating budgets and manage costs within approved budgets
• Provide technical support and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Foster safety training and cross-site collaboration
