Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer to support the preparation, handling and supplying of materials for various solar projects. Responsibilities include load/unload operations, panel installation, rigging, racking and pile layout, with a focus on safety and teamwork across craft teams.

Ideal candidates have construction experience, ability to operate tools and equipment, and a willingness to perform repetitive physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to use power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and customer service skills.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
• Lifting over 50 lbs requires assistance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Prepare, handle and supply materials for other crafts.
• Solar panel install.
• Rigging.
• Racking assembly.
• Torque tube assembly.
• Pile layout.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• All other duties as assigned.
