Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer II to support the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials for solar projects. You will load/unload, assist with panel installation, rigging, racking assembly, and site cleanup while coordinating with crafts across the jobsite.

The role requires a two-year apprenticeship and comfort with power and non-powered tools; teamwork, safety, and strong communication are essential as you help advance renewable energy installations.

Qualifications

Two-year apprenticeship required.
Experience in construction preferred.
Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.

Responsibilities

Load and unload equipment and materials.
Prepare, handle and supply materials for other crafts.
Solar panel installation.
Rigging tasks for solar systems.
Racking assembly and torque tube assembly.
Pile layout and site organization.
General cleanup and debris removal.
All other duties as assigned.
