SunPower in Orem, Utah, is seeking an Industrial Engineer – Solar Operations & Data Analytics to enhance performance across the project lifecycle—from sales to activation—through data-driven insights and dashboards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years in operations analytics, industrial engineering, BI, or related role.
• Experience with large operational datasets.
• Strong Excel skills, PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data across the project lifecycle to identify bottlenecks, delays, productivity issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Track project flow from sale through design, permitting, installation, inspection, PTO, and activation.
• Analyze cycle times, aging, WIP, productivity, backlog, throughput, and related metrics.
• Identify where projects accumulate in the pipeline and perform root-cause analysis and impact assessment.
• Develop operational benchmarks and identify performance gaps across teams and regions.
• Build and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into pipelines, aging, cycle times, and performance.
• Map workflows and recommend changes to improve speed, quality, and profitability.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives across Operations, Design, Construction, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience.
• Establish standard metrics and definitions; track impact of improvements.
• Extract, clean, join, and analyze data from CRM, ERP, and other systems; create a single source of truth.
• Automate data collection and recurring reporting to reduce manual work.
