ACT Power Services in Fresno, CA is seeking a Portfolio Engineer to oversee performance, analysis, and optimization of solar and storage facilities. You will serve as the main technical liaison for clients and site managers, coordinating maintenance schedules and reporting across a diverse fleet.

The role requires experience with DAS/SCADA, PV technology, and network communications, with an emphasis on delivering actionable performance improvements and effective client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, technology, or physics; associates with training may be considered.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, or operating in power generation or industrial facilities.
• Experience with VBA or Python programming.
• Experience with PV technology, DC/AC systems, and network communications.

Responsibilities

• Performance analysis of solar and storage projects via remote DAS and SCADA.
• Serve as central contact for plant managers, operators, utilities, and clients on performance and maintenance.
• Produce site performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead client calls and act as technical client interface.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and tools for efficient operation of a diverse fleet.
• Develop tools and processes to optimize organizational performance.
