Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician to perform maintenance checks, troubleshooting and repair of equipment across solar farms. The role requires strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, independent work, and collaboration with the maintenance team to meet uptime and production targets.

The position supports on-site operations in Liberty, Texas, with occasional travel; a college degree is preferred and applicants should be prepared for non-standard hours including nights and

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of hands-on experience in renewable energy (solar, wind or similar).
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing various types of electrical machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lockout Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis
• Must be willing to travel; project locations within Sicily (Italy).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily project system issues to meet uptime goals.
• Understand hourly production output targets and develop plans to meet them.
• Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine maintenance (PMs, start-up tests) on equipment.
• Identify potential problems and suggest corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and contractors to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Ensure CMMS work orders are completed and audit warranty claims.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot project systems such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, and communications equipment.
• Provide training on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting to operators and others.
