Job summary

Solar Energy Solutions LLC is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient performance of solar energy systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair panels, inverters and other components, while maintaining careful records and coordinating with the installation team to resolve issues.

Role requires at least a high school diploma, 2+ years in O&M of solar systems, and knowledge of electrical systems; certification is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in solar energy systems or relevant field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment/Journeyman's Electrical License.
• Familiarity with solar inverters and monitoring systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
• Perform system monitoring to identify and address underperformance or faults.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Collaborate with the installation team to resolve any technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
