Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician to perform maintenance checks, troubleshooting and repair of solar project equipment. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities include PMs, start-up tests, documenting CMMS work orders, and supporting commissioning and testing activities. Travel to project sites and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in renewable energy or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and manuals.
• Strong safety background with Lockout/Tagout knowledge.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily project system issues to meet uptime goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and start-up tests on equipment.
• Diagnose inverters, switchgear, transformers and related systems.
• Coordinate with team, sub-contractors and operations for uptime gains.
• Maintain and audit CMMS work orders and warranty claims.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to operators as needed.
