Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician I-III to install, troubleshoot, and repair project equipment at solar farms and rooftop systems. The role requires hands-on field work, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or in a team to meet uptime and production targets.

Candidates should have 2–5+ years of field experience in renewable energy, the ability to read blueprints, and willingness to work nonstandard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5+ years of hands-on field work in renewable energy environments.
• NABCEP Certification is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and good written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in outdoor conditions; schedule flexibility incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily project system issues to meet uptime goals.
• Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot project systems such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, and communications gear.
• Communicate cross-functionally to resolve plant issues and prepare procurement documents.
• Supervise sub-contractors and ensure safe, compliant operations.
