Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking an O&M Field Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Ashley County, Arkansas. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at operational solar facilities to support uptime and production targets.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, safety-consciousness, and can work independently or with a team. 2–5+ years of field maintenance experience and a valid driver's license are required; NABCEP

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on field experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in renewable energy, including solar, wind, or similar environments, preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical machinery and equipment.
• NABCEP certification is a plus. Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily system issues to maintain plant uptime.
• Monitor production targets and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment, including inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, and communication systems.
• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate work orders within CMMS and prepare procurement documentation.
• Provide training and support to technicians as needed.
• Assist in developing SOPs and support project commissioning and startup activities.
• Oversee subcontractors performing maintenance and repair activities.
