ACT Power Services, LLC is seeking a Solar Master Technician to perform safe, productive repairs and maintenance on Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants. The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and maximizing production while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities cover servicing solar modules, strings, trackers, and inverters; travel and on-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency with power tools for repair tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything that you do.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities.
• Willingness to learn the NEC code, electrical theory, and industry best practices.
• Perform DC and AC testing including polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding, insulation resistance, and I-V tracing.
• Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and connections.
• Maintain schedules for routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of solar equipment.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians as needed.
