Job summary

ACT Power Services is seeking a Solar Master Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial and utility-scale solar PV plants. You will protect safety while troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing modules, strings, trackers, and inverters to maximize production.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing (DC/AC), and learning NEC code and industry practices. Outdoor, field-based role with travel and on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities.
• Willingness to learn NEC code, electrical theory, and industry best practices.
• DC and AC testing, including I-V tracing and insulation checks.
• Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and connections.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for solar equipment.
