Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II – Field Operations to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar facilities, including PV systems, UPS, SCADA, and associated MV/HV equipment. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, safety focus, and the ability to work on-site in the Forrest City, AR region.

Qualifications

• Intermediate skills with computers and electronic equipment.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on PV systems, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance and respond to emergency directives as needed.
• Log all work in the CMMS platform and support field investigations for root cause analysis.
• Provide access to third party contractors and assist with land management and vegetation tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management, and work both independently and in a team.
