Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II - Field Operations to join on-site in Jackson, TN. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV facilities, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and support field teams to ensure reliable energy production.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical maintenance or related fields, with experience in MV/HV systems and safety protocols. Must be able to work outdoors, lift 50 pounds, and travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the electrical trade, electrical maintenance, multicraft maintenance, or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
• Solar installation, commissioning, or operations and maintenance experience desired.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, IT systems, inverters, T&D systems, substations, or other specialized electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks at each facility, including PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, for the PV system and related infrastructure.
• Respond to directives for emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work performed via the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Assist with investigations to support predictive analytics and root-cause analysis.
