Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II – Field Operations to maintain on-site facilities in Jackson, TN. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance across PV systems, UPS, SCADA, and related equipment, with hands-on electrical and mechanical work.

The role supports safety and data logging, and requires the ability to work solo or in a team in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in electrical maintenance or related field.
• OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS certs to be obtained within 4 weeks of employment.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to travel up to 2 hours each way.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on PV, UPS, SCADA, and MV/HV systems.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and respond to emergency dispatches.
• Log work activity in the CMMS system and document findings.
• Conduct electrical testing with tracers, meters, and testing devices.
• Assist with field investigations for predictive analytics and root cause analysis.
• Provide site access for contractors and assist with land management tasks as needed.
