Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer I to support craft teams by preparing, handling, and supplying materials for solar projects, including panel installation assistance. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, rigging, racking assembly, pile layout, and general site cleanup, with emphasis on teamwork and safe practices in a dynamic field environment.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to use power and non-powered tools, contributing to a high-performing field

Qualifications

• Experience in construction is preferred.
• Ability to use power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.
• Solar panel install
• Rigging
• Racking assembly
• Torque tube assembly
• Pile layout
• General cleanup and clearing of debris
• All other duties as assigned
