Job summary

Ion Solar is hiring a licensed electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for solar projects. You will work from blueprints, use hand and power tools, and ensure quality and safety on each site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an electrician apprenticeship with a valid license. Solar experience is preferred, and candidates must be able to work day shifts on site in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed electrician with formal apprenticeship and license.
• Solar experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar projects.
• Read blueprints and ensure compliance with policies and budgets.
• Safely assemble solar arrays and seal roof penetrations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Document job completion and communicate with customers.
