Job summary

ION Solar is seeking Licensed Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for solar projects nationwide. The role involves rooftop/site work, safe installation practices, and collaboration with customers and crew members.

Candidates must have a valid electrician's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and be enrolled in a trade apprenticeship if unlicensed. Competitive wages, 401K, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
• Complete projects within time frames and budgets.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
• Assemble the solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install related equipment.
• Responsible for groundwork of a solar installation including connection to the MSP.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers professionally and resolve questions and complaints.
• Document proper paperwork for each job completed.
