Job summary

ION Solar is seeking Licensed Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for solar installations in Meriden, CT. Duties include assembling solar array racking, sealing roof penetrations, and wiring to MSP connections.

Applicants must have a valid electrician’s license (or be enrolled in a formal apprenticeship) and the ability to read blueprints. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship completion and valid electrician license required.
• New hires must have or pursue electrician licensure as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar installations.
• Read blueprints and install solar components with safety compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers professionally and document work.
• Prepare and file required paperwork for each job.
