Job summary

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding residential solar company seeking an Installer to assemble, install and maintain PV systems. The role requires installing solar panels on roofs, wiring and configuring PV systems, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, with preferences for vocational training or previous solar/construction experience. The position is full-time, on-site, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training encouraged.
• Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and connects panels to the grid.
• Maintain high quality assurance and crew safety.
• Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
• Ensure weather sealing of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Assist Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
