Job summary

ION Solar is seeking licensed electricians to install, maintain and repair solar power systems in Meriden, CT. You will work on rooftop and attic installations, wiring, testing and commissioning, ensuring safety and high quality standards.

The role requires a valid electrician's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and apprenticeship completion. On-site, full-time work with benefits, competitive wages, 401K, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Solar or relevant experience is preferred.
• Licensed - Completion of a formal apprenticeship and proof of valid electrician's license required

Responsibilities

• Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
• Complete projects within time frames and budgets.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
• Assemble the solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install equipment.
• Work on the groundwork of a solar installation including MSP connection.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers professionally and respectfully.
• Document proper paperwork for each job completed.
