Job summary

Standard Solar Inc. in Rockville, MD is seeking an Inventory and Supply-Chain Specialist to maintain accurate material records from procurement through project turnover.

You will manage receipts, issues, transfers, and allocations for solar modules, inverters, racking, and related items, coordinating with Procurement and Project teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized with 2+ years in data entry or inventory control, experience with ERP systems, and knowledge of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data entry, inventory control, warehouse administration, or related experience.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, energy, or logistics environments is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, returns, and project allocations for solar materials.
• Track owned, vendor-held, warehouse, laydown-yard, and project-site inventory by project, location, and status.
• Verify transactions with POs, packing slips, bills of lading, delivery tickets, and related docs.
• Maintain item master data, vendor information, and project coding in designated systems.
• Update delivery, shortage, damage, quarantine, and release statuses for reliable material availability.
