Job summary

Brda Electric in the St. Louis region is expanding its renewable energy division and seeks an experienced Solar Installation Technician to work on residential and commercial solar projects across the Greater St. Louis region.

You will install panels, racking, inverters, and related equipment, perform site assessments, read plans, and ensure safety and quality on rooftop and ground-mounted systems. Valid driver’s license and OSHA/industry certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Experience installing residential and commercial solar energy systems.
Understanding of solar equipment and mounting systems.
Ability to read plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
Knowledge of NEC requirements and local codes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Professional communication and team attitude.
OSHA certification and solar industry certification.
Valid driver’s license and Greater St. Louis residency.

Responsibilities
