Job summary

Sunrun is launching a new St. Louis branch and seeks an experienced Lead Solar Installer to join the team now. You will spearhead installation crews during the launch, gaining leadership experience while coordinating across modules, mounts, electrical prep, and weatherproofing.

You will participate in the Power+ program, develop the crew, and help ensure safe, efficient installations. Candidates should have solar installation experience and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Requires solar installation experience and ability to lead a team.
• Able to meet deadlines and key metrics in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in Power+ training and cross-training in other departments.
• Adheres to safety policies and promotes safe work practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crews at the St. Louis branch launch.
• Oversee layout, mounting, electrical prep and weatherproofing tasks.
• Ensure site is clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Coordinate inventory, equipment, and crew assignments.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to crew members.
• May assist with solar battery installations as needed.
• Act as foreperson in absence of supervisor.
