Job summary
Brda Electric in the St. Louis region is seeking a Solar Installation Technician to join our growing renewable energy team. You will work on residential and commercial solar projects across the Greater St.
Louis area, installing panels, racking, inverters, and related equipment while ensuring safety and quality. You will perform site assessments, read plans and drawings, test system performance, and document work.
Qualifications
- Experience installing residential and commercial solar systems.
- Ability to read plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of NEC and local building codes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Professional communication and a team-first attitude.
- OSHA certification and solar industry certification.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels, racking, inverters, and related equipment.
- Perform site assessments.
- Interpret plans and drawings.
- Test and troubleshoot system performance.
- Document completed work.
- Collaborate with project managers and customers to meet quality and safety standards.
