Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation team. You will work with a crew to complete installations, guide fellow installers, and ensure safety and quality on every job site.

Responsibilities include coordinating material loading, assembling system components, and leading the crew through efficient installations while maintaining safety standards. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required.
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license (must be 21+).
• Adheres to safety policies and reports hazards.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and coworkers.
• Meets deadlines and key metrics.
• Power+ program participation may cross-train to other departments.
• Works independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock and stock crew truck.
• Assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment per plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure.
• Lead crew through safe, efficient installations.
• Ensure a clean and orderly job site and safety at all times.
• Participate in training on new products and safety.
